If you’ve ever read an “artist biography,” then you’ve heard (or read) it all before. In the case of Spencer Rush, though, it’s all true. Spencer’s songs are edgy and cool. His real-life wit and emotion come through in each line, supported by a velvety voice with incredible range. Spencer has taken the best of his musical influences (Elton John, The Police, and Pink Floyd, among others) and created a sound that’s unique, yet utterly universal. …. ..Music > .. .. Spencer’s latest EP, “Change of Scenery” was produced by The Ultras (songwriting/production duo Eran Tabib and Harold Stephan) at Sherwood Ridge Studios in Pomona, NY with owner/engineer C Lanzbom (Founder of band Soulfarm.)  It includes an electic mix of three songs varying in styles and co-written with The Ultras.  Spencer’s previous CD is also available on iTunes as well as many other online stores.  It was produced by Noel Golden (Matchbox 20, Angie Aparo, Edwin McCain) at Sonica Studios in Atlanta, GA. The 6-song EP is an example of mature songwriting combined with passion and talent of some of the best in the business. …. .. Touring > .. .. Playing over 250 shows a year, Spencer knows the value of consistent touring and grassroots promotion. As a result, he has a developed an amazingly loyal fan base in numerous markets throughout North and South Carolina and Georgia. ……

From their cowboy boots to their down home roots…. Country music has seeped into their veins right from the Southern Indiana soil.  They grew up on well water, bluegrass pickin, and gospel singin.  Born and raised to be country musicians, they are David and Whitney, Ya’ll!

“Don’t waste your talent on being an accountant…” they told him.

“That twang’ll never fly in choir,” they told her.

“Good.” she said and they hit the road!

You can find these two on college campuses, Tin Roof bars, weddings, corporate events, and sports events.

You may have seen them in the 2013 Colts Budlight Tailgate Series in downtown Indianapolis hosted by HankFM 97.1… or 2014 in the Locker Room restaurant in Banker’s Life Fieldhouse: home of the Indianapolis Pacers.

They have been blessed to share the stage with some notables including Randy Houser, Florida Georgia Line, Sara Evans, Jana Kramer, Casey James, Dustin Lynch, Love and Theft, and Frankie Ballard.

Wes Cook is a Country music artist living in Nashville, TN trying to make his name on Music Row and cities across America.  Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Wes grew up on all genres of music. Rock-n-roll to Country new or old, Southern Rock to Bluegrass it all played a roll in his distinct sound on stage.  Cool Southern Rock with the grit of rock-n-roll and a lyrical composer of Country music is what you will find when you attend one of Wes’ shows.

Known for his genuine personality and blue-collar work ethic instilled in him by his parents at a young age you’d be hard pressed to find a harder working musician in Nashville. Making sure to always take time to thank those that attend the show as well as the staff at each venue. He’ll throw you a party and then come shake your hand and have a beer with you.

For 4 years Wes was the front man for the band Barefoot Renegades based out of Nashville. In each of those years the band played over 200 shows a year in 15 different states and 56 different cities.  In July of 2013, after much thought, Wes decided to set out on his own and pursue an artist act. Made up of some of the most talented musicians in Nashville the Wes Cook Band was formed.

Now his days are filled with writing sessions, booking shows, recording a new all original album, and playing music. Bright things are on the horizon for this talented artist. With shows booked out thru February of 2014 already and opening slots on several artists tours next summer it appears that 2014 will be a great year for him.

So make sure you check back here for a full schedule of upcoming shows and don’t miss the next time Wes Cook makes his way to your neck of the woods.

Today, you might say that country music has grown leaps and bounds. The genre has opened its doors to folk, bluegrass, rock..., indie pop, and multiple influences within the now-country genre. That’s exactly where Highway Run barrels onto the scene. The influences and experiences of both Alyssa Claar and Brandon Ray’s singing, songwriting, and performing fall between all of those categories. Packed with power and sensitivity, wit and excitement, emotion and a connection unlike their peers, Highway Run fills a room and concert with memories and catchy tunes. Ray’s songwriting was recognized immediately by powerhouse company, Horipro Entertainment, who signed him to a publishing contract. Shortly after, he received and signed a production deal with Freeway Creative Group to record his first EP. His original songs have been co-written with legends like Dean Dillon and Hillary Lindsey. His catalog continues to grow in popularity with songs like “Summer Thang” and “21 Tonight” that easily became fan favorites. Brandon continues to record, and is amping up the game by combining his efforts with Alyssa Claar. Claar’s talent to perform on the world’s best stages in New York City’s famed Broadway district, and continued right on over to Music City’s biggest stages. As a regular performer at Nashville’s infamous The Stage, she learned to use her theatrical vocal skills to really reign in the crowd and give them a show that lasts. Claar moved from Pennsylvania to The Big Apple, and found herself sharing the stage and singing with LL Cool J, Michael Crawford, Savion Glover, and many other top performers. She has also performed with Rascal Flatts, Lynyrd Synryd, Poison, Trick Pony, and Seether to name a few. She has proven to successfully bridge the gap of rock and country. The power of Highway Run is a non-sensical powerful, yet humble performance the two individuals come together in to unite. Currently, this duo will be recording for their debut album while leveraging their solo success to introducing Highway Run on tour in 2014.Stay in touch with the group by following: Twitter.com/HighwayRunMusic Facebook.com/HighwayRunMusic Reverbnation.com/HighwayRunMusic

Kaleb Hensley’s music is a direct culmination of the life he has lived. While he has been down the road less traveled, his music is constantly influenced by his past and present circumstances. Kaleb has travelled all over the United States playing his music- from large arenas to small “hole-in-the-walls.” Even though he has played for some of country’s biggest names, he remains true to himself and refuses to compromise his music to fit any molds. His writing style is a direct reflection of his strong southern roots and his “take it or leave it” attitude. Kaleb’s first studio album, “100 Proof” was released to iTunes in October of 2014 and has already been deemed a “fan favorite.” The title track is a true testimony of his life and his image as an artist. “My life is about taking the most unlikely circumstances and changing them into the most obvious successes. A double shot is a small amount of liquid but it’s very potent. There was so much under the surface that I wanted to show and I wanted to come out. The song says ‘Cut me to my bones but I bleed 100 proof’- that was my first testimony to music.”

Kaleb was born and raised in small-town, Lenoir, North Carolina. He began exploring music at a young age inspired by his grandfather and other local influences. His musical interest began with an old upright piano that sat in his grandparents’ living room, followed by a mandolin that was gifted to him. “I was raised by my grandparents so all I was allowed to listen to was southern gospel and bluegrass and that was because my grandpa said that that was the only type of music worth listening to- he was a very religious person.” After about four months on the mandolin, Kaleb was searching for something more. He discovered an old Bentley brand guitar much like a Les Paul while at his dad’s house one weekend. He was hooked.  “For about the first 6 months it only had 5 strings because I didn’t have the money to get one and I was too proud to ask my grandaddy for one. I would break a string and it would take an act of congress to get another string for the dang thing. I used to just sit and play with the radio because we didn’t have cable TV- we were just so poor.”

While he was raised in less-than-ideal circumstances with very little money to his name, music became his escape from reality. He constantly challenged himself by listening to the radio and trying to match the sound of his favorite artists. His musical taste transitioned from bluegrass to Rock ’N Roll and his love for “Guns and Roses” became his ultimate motivation.

“Guns and Roses, man, something about that guitar. I remember the very first time that I heard something that wasn’t southern gospel. We were driving through the country and ‘welcome to the jungle’ came on and I just remember it was like poison to my soul and I was hooked. I couldn’t have been more than 7 or 8 years old and I was baffled at the sound of it. It was so raw and different- it had so much energy. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s for me- I’ll have that.’ As I got older, I started to get more into country. Keith urban was a huge influence for me."  After high school, Kaleb pursued a college education but eventually decided music was his true passion. At the age of 19, he packed up his car, loaded his guitars and moved to Nashville to pursue his career as a musician. He worked his way through the Nashville songwriters circuit and various small bars and venues before finally forming his own band in 2013. The band currently travels all over the United States playing in venues such as the “Tin Roof” circuit and Old Crow Smokehouse in downtown Chicago. He continues to write and record as he prepares for his next album which will include his newest single “Damn this Radio.”

Kaleb’s music is a direct reflection of his roots, his love for rock and roll as well as religion, and the challenges he has faced over the course of his life. From “Moonshine Lips” to “Tattoos and Pain,” Kaleb covers it all. He’s equal parts “Guns ’N Roses” and southern charm. You can see by the tattoos on his arms that his roots are not just a memory, but a part of who he is. From the Les Paul on his forearm, the various “Guns ’N Roses” memorabilia scattered throughout the ink, and a giant cross on his shoulder, it’s clear that the course of his life is more than just a road he has travelled- it’s who he is. He’ll be the first to tell you that his music will always be real, true, and honest. Kaleb Hensley is nothing less than “100 proof.

Dylan Jakobsen may only be 21 years old but you wouldn’t know it from his music. From starting out as a high school pop rock... artist to transitioning into the indie pop world and finally settling on a more mature, country rock sound, Dylan has had a taste of it all. “Nothing’s ever felt more right.” Said Dylan when asked: why country now? “I'm just creating the kind of music I love and country’s become a part of me.” Dylan uses feel good harmonica songs and pedal steel enriched story telling to captivate his audience within the music. “I want to paint a story people feel like they've become a part of in each song.” He writes about love, growing up, life's struggles and just plain living. He focuses on constantly improving himself as a musician by not only being able to play guitar, but also the harmonica, drums, piano, pedal steel, mandolin and the banjo; skills he uses when writing and recording all the parts on his records. Dylan isn’t a one-man show though; he has a live backing band joining him every step of the way. Together they’ve supported bands ranging from Lee Brice, Thompson Square and The Henningsens to The All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls and The Maine. In the summer of 2014 alone they were a part of 14 fairs & festivals across the Northwest including the Bite of Seattle, the Benton Franklin Fair and the National Lentil Festival. Dylan has also been featured both locally and nationally on many TV and Radio stations as well as in Alternative Press, Local Wolves Magazine and The Seattle Times. “Put aside your want for a mixed country song with a pop feel to it and embrace what country should be comprised of, soulful lyrics and an acoustic guitar. Dylan brings back the classic sound while infusing his take on the alternative genre and the outcome is an ear pleasing tune” (TWSJ 2014). Dylan tours on and off throughout the year both with and without a band, participating in independent tours as well as with regional co-headliners and as an opener on Idobi Radios’ Christmas tour. But don’t judge Dylan based on this bio, come out to a show and see for yourself what people are talking about. “I feel as though I am creating some of the best works I've ever written and I don't think anything will make me happier than to release them and let them be heard by anyone who will listen.”
