Have a Nice Day Café Returns This Saturday
Popular former uptown nightspot takes over StrikeCity
CHARLOTTE, NC – Charlotteans who enjoy reminiscing about 70s and 80s retro dance parties will have reason to rejoice this weekend with the return of a former uptown favorite at EpiCentre.
Have a Nice Day Café is back this Saturday, February 18, as StrikeCity is taking its guests back in time by transforming into the once-popular party venue. All Have a Nice Day trademarks will be present this weekend at StrikeCity, including a soundtrack of 70s and 80s dance tunes and the famous Have a Nice Day Café Happy Bowls, which will be available Saturday night.
In addition, StrikeCity encourages all attendees to dust off their leg warmers, parachute pants and Members Only jackets, as the entertainment destination will host a $500 Best 80s Gear competition in honor of the Have a Nice Day Café celebration. Attendees can also mention 96.1 the Beat at the door for free cover before 10 p.m. on Saturday night.
Originally located on North College Street in uptown, Have a Nice Day Café was Charlotte staple from the mid 1990s until closing in 2005, but now the groovy good times are back. StrikeCity is located on the main level of EpiCentre, 210 E Trade Street in uptown Charlotte.
