New Biergarten on Tap for Pavilion at EpiCentre
Open air, European-inspired setting is latest addition to uptown entertainment destination
Charlotte, NC – Beer lovers of Charlotte rejoice – Pavilion at EpiCentre is serving up a new scenic setting to enjoy a few cold ones this summer with the opening of Biergarten at Pavilion.
Biergarten at Pavilion will feature import, specialty and craft beers in a comfortable, open-air setting. Guests can enjoy a fresh draft beer while basking in the beautiful Carolina weather and taking in breathtaking views of the Charlotte skyline from 5 p.m. until close Tuesday through Friday and 12 p.m. until close on Saturdays. Biergarten hosts its Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, April 29 at 5 p.m. Free tickets for the Grand Opening are available at select EpiCentre locations, including BlackFinn, Libretto’s, StrikeCity, SUITE, Vida and Whisky River.
The addition of Biergarten is just one of several significant enhancements to Pavilion at EpiCentre. The rooftop venue has undergone a complete facelift with the addition of greenery, cherry trees, permanent water features, welcoming shaded areas and relaxing seating. Pavilion also now features an assortment of leisure activities, including ping pong, bocce ball and cornhole.
Biergarten will offer a unique compliment to Pavilion’s already packed 2011 calendar. Alive After Five returns to Pavilion on May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) and continues every Thursday through September. Pavilion will also host more concerts than ever before in 2011, including the All-Star Concert Series, Summer Concert Series and Bug Light One Night Stand. In addition, Pavilion will host a variety of events this year, including Field Day, EpiCinco, SOAK Sundays, Movie Nights, Sip & Stroll, Rock the Republic and more. Pavilion is located atop EpiCentre, 210 E Trade Street in uptown Charlotte and is easily accessible via the LYNX Blue Line.
