Second annual festival celebrates local art, wine and music

CHARLOTTE, NC – Admirers of art, amateur sommeliers and live music enthusiasts alike will converge on uptown Charlotte this September for the second annual Sip & Stroll at EpiCentre.

Sip & Stroll is a two-day family-friendly art, wine and music festival featuring artwork and demonstrations by local and national artists, wine from over 20 wineries and live music throughout all three levels of EpiCentre. Artwork will be on display during the festival and guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with as well as purchase pieces directly from the artists. On the music side, the smooth jazz sounds of 5th & York will fill the uptown air from 7-10 p.m. on Friday night, while Saturday’s soundtrack will include Buff Dillard & Uniq Blend from 2-4 p.m. and the Temple All-Stars from 5-7 p.m.

The festival begins on Friday night, September 16 with a VIP kickoff reception from 7-10 p.m. Sip & Stroll resumes Saturday at noon and continues through 8 p.m. that evening. Tickets are available online at SipAndStrollCharlotte.com; prices are $20 apiece for Friday and Saturday or $30 for a two-day weekend pass.
